Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor comedian, activist, and actress. After moving to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as an actress in her early years as a child. From 2013 until 2016, she worked as the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020, she has been the AT&T saleswoman Lily Adams. She gained fame for her role in television commercials. Apart from her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a series regular on Yahoo! Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl on Marvel Rising in 2018 following her appearance in the pilot television series called New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. She and her parents fled antisemitism at the age of two. They settled in West Hollywood. Her family's financial troubles resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. She was kicked out of her sophomore year and obtained an GED. Then, she went on to receive an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied improv comedy.
